When and where: (9th)-10th of September 2015, in Malmö, Sweden, at Ängavallen conference centre
Join as an exhibitor or a sponsor and get a presentation in the workshop program!
Enjoy facilitated networking during a full hour of speed-dating! - final deadline for registration 10th of August!
Network at the welcome reception in the evening before the event!

Every year IBBA organize a workshop within a specific topic in the biogas field. The purpose of the workshop is to create networking between researchers within the same field in the baltic region. This year's topic is pretreatment of lignocelllulosic substrates. Straw and other lignocellulosic substrates constitute a large part of the European biogas potential. These substrates are difficult to digest without a suitable pretreatment method that increase the methane yield and decrease the required retention time in the digester. In the IBBA workshop 2015, the latest development in this field will be presented by speakers from various European countries such as Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Austria. The workshop takes place the 10th of September in Sweden close to Malmö/Copenhagen. In addition to the program, there will be set-aside time for networking, and a chance to get a taste of the food and ambiance of the countrylife of Southern Sweden!

Join the conference as sponsor or exhibitor, plenary presentation time included!
A warm welcome to our first registered exhibitors, Bioprocess Control and Tekniska Verken Linköping

There is a full hour allocated for sponsoring (10 min - 1,000EUR) and exhibiting (5 min - 500EUR) companies to take the opportunity to showcase their products within the pretreatment sector. The first 6 exhibitors and 3 sponsors will get alotted time! Full attendance for one person included in the price. Please consult the exhibitor and sponsor page to learn more!

Guided tour on Ängavallen farm by the founder, Rolf-Axel Nordström:
"All cultivation at Ängavallen is 100 percent organic. This means that we do not use artificial fertilizers, pesticides or other chemical additives. Everything is permitted to grow as nature intended. The crops consist of old, native varieties that have adapted to our climate and type of soil over the decades. Resistant varieties that grow healthily. These varieties grow more slowly than modern varieties, but in return they provide more taste.

All pork, lamb and beef as well as all cured meats come from the farm’s own HälsoDjur® and are sold under the registered trademarks. Original, native breeds (Swedish Red Poll cattle, Swedish Forest Sheep, Linderöd pigs) that have roamed freely under the open sky and that have lived a good life and have been reared on the farm’s vegetable fodder, which is organically grown and naturally fertilized. The animals have not been given any medicines and they are slaughtered on the farm, in a dignified manner and entirely stress-free."

The event is organized by Energiforsk - The Swedish Energy Research Centre (formerly SGC, Swedish Gas Technology Centre), and co-hosted by DBFZ (Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum) and the independent company Institute for Biogas.
